The Akorn project is now in beta testing, offering users the ability to effortlessly monitor the emerging scientific literature across multiple fields. Currently most of the journals covered are toward the physics end of the spectrum (including arXiv.org), but as development progresses we aim to expand the range to encompass all disciplines -- if you'd like to see specific journals covered, you can ask us or even join the team and add them yourself.
This is the public beta of the Akorn app for Android, with which one can set up search filters and browse the latest papers. We're planning to add more features as development progresses and we obtain user feedback.
